Alyssa, a born and raised Jersey girl, lives a mile from the Asbury Park boardwalk. She is a full-time teacher who started her career just outside of New Haven, Connecticut and now currently teaches in Monmouth County, New Jersey. She loves to read and help her students grow to love reading as well. A is for Asbury Park is her first book.

Inspired by many boardwalk strolls with her newborn while on maternity leave, A is for Asbury Park takes readers on a rhyming ABC tour of the city by the sea. Enjoy learning about AP’s iconic spots that you can visit with your family.
